Welcome to the Hara support forum. We’d love your feedback. Our idea is to create an iPhone application that calculates your carbon footprint, gives you tips on how to be more energy efficient, and suggests products that save money while also saving energy. You can also record your energy uses for your household appliances in a daily log that charts your progress to become more environmentally friendly.

What ideas do you have to make this iPhone app better.

    1. World Map

      A map of the world that is color coded based on how "green" people are. Users would submit their data and countries would be color coded based on how "green" the user is. The least "green" users would be shown as a red dot on the map, and the most "green" users would be represented by green dots on the map.

      • Ability to donate

        Have the ability to donate to a charity to offset your carbon footprint. This could be calculated by the amount of CO2 that is used with any of your activities.

          • explain global warming

            You should explain to the user exactly what global warming is doing and what part we have in it. Then, the user will probably be convinced and will have an incentive to actually reduce energy usage.

              • User input through voice

                This app should allow user input through voice. Only then it will make very convenient for users to get use to.
